From Germany you can reach Namibia from Frankfurt with a direct flight offered by Eurowings Discover.
Tourists from other countries can fly to South Africa (Johannesburg, Cape Town) and take the connection flight to Namibia.
KLM is flying from Amsterdam to Namibia. From the United States you can rech Namibia with Qatar via Doha.
With Ethiopian Airlines you can reach Windhoek via Addis Abeba.
All tourists must be in possession of a passport that is valid for at least six months after your intended date of departure from Namibia. Please make sure you have at least two blank pages in your passport for visa stamps or even more if you are travelling through with stops in between.
We recommend to have a copy of your passport with you and also another document of identification (such as ID or drivers licence).
Travel Express is a travel agent company, which will help you to find a suitable flight. The agent will also assist you with all information about the transport of your firearm. We highly recommend working with Travel Express because of their experience to assist hunting tourists.
If you need medical help during your stay in Namibia we will make sure you get a good medical service in a private hospital in Windhoek.
All of our hunting areas (except the Sambesi Region) are malaria free areas. Please contact your doctor if you are thinking about taking malaria medication.
There are no vaccinations or Health Certificates needed to enter Namibia. Please contact your doctor for detailed medical information.

The national currency of Namibia is the Namibia Dollar (N$). The Namibia Dollar is linked to the South African Rand. Throughout Namibia you can pay with South African Rand and Namibia Dollar.
We recommend to bring cash (US$ or Euro) and Debit or Credit cards. Most shops and hotels accept Visa or American Express cards. We recommend to inform your bank about your safari to Namibia before departure. You will be able to draw cash money (N$) at ATM’s or to exchange US$ or Euros at a bureau de change.
Safari deposits are not refundable.
There is free WIFI in all of our lodges (except Mount Valley – Namib Desert).

All pieces of luggage should have a name tag with your contact details including your gun case. Please make sure to follow your airlines luggage guidelines. Otherwise they will charge you for overweight or oversize. For the transport of weapons you need to use an airline approved lockable hard gun or bow case.
Please take care of your valuables while travelling. Always carry your passport, copy of passport, insurance documents, rifle documents, cash money, credit cards and electrical devices with you and don’t put them in your drop off luggage.
To get to the hunting lodges you don’t need to rent a car. We will welcome you at the airport and bring you to the lodge.

The following tipping guidelines are no rules. We get asked about tipping regularly. Hunting is a service industry. Tipps from hunting clients are an inherent part of their income. Our staff is working on its highest level to make your hunting experience as unforgettable as possible. By tipping your hunting team you can show your appreciation for their hard work. The following amounts are guidelines which you can follow if you are satisfied with your hunting safari.
